On April 28, the Maritime Cluster of Ukraine took part in the online consultation Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin 2021-2027. Participants of the program are representatives of nine countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, the Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine) and the European Commission.
Based on the territorial analysis of the participating countries, preliminary consultations, the Organizing Committee of the Program agreed on policy objectives (PO) and specific objectives (SO) that will receive funding. Work is currently underway on PO 1 – A more competitive and smarter Europe and its Neighborhood, with one Specific Objective: SO 1 – developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and the uptake of advanced technologies.
Stakeholder involvement from participating countries is ongoing, with a view to further thematic concentration. These can be contextually linked clusters, NGOs, government agencies, small and medium-sized enterprises. We offer to get acquainted in more detail with possible aspects of the events related to the scope of the SO1 goal and to be financed by the program by downloading the Report document of the last meeting of the Program participants.
If you are interested in such an opportunity and have specific proposals for the development of the region, please contact the UMC representatives who will help create a project application, at the link: https://bit.ly/3nyS6hG.
