UMC will take part in the World Maritime Week 2023

The Ukrainian Maritime Cluster will take part in the World Maritime Week 2023. It is a high-level International Maritime Forum, a strategic meeting point for key players within global maritime industry: shipyards, shipping companies, engineering and ship-owners, among others.

WHEN: 21-23 March 2023 (Opening time Tuesday and Wednesday: 10:00 – 18:00, Thursday: 10:00 – 14:30

WHERE: Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) – Luxua and Auditorium (Azkue Kalea, 1, 48903 Barakaldo, Bizkaia, Spain)

World Maritime Week is the benchmark event in the international maritime sector, which holds four parallel international congresses for the following fields:

  • – naval (SINAVAL);
  • – fishing (EUROFISHING);
  • – ports (FUTUREPORT);
  • – and wave, tidal and current energy (OCEAN ENERGY CONFERENCE).

It includes an Exhibiting Area, a wide Conference programme and a large Networking section (Reverse Trade Mission-B2B Meetings with international shipowners/shipping companies and shipyards, private cocktails with speakers, purchaser delegations, and authorities and the World Maritime Week Awards).

World Maritime Week Launches World Maritime Week Awards 1st edition, a unique opportunity to honor and acknowledge the achievements of our colleagues within maritime sector, recognizing and rewarding those actors that encourage efforts to ensure its future improvement and competitiveness at international level.

4 award categories will be granted as a reward to those who put their hard work into their proposals, representing the 4 sectors of World Maritime Week Forum: (SINAVAL, EUROFISHING, FUTUREPORT and OEC):

  • – FUTUREPORT Award
  • – OEC Award
