PU UMC participated in a workshop with potential investors.

Within the #4BIZproject framework, a meeting was held with investors for companies in the blue economy sector of the Black Sea region, namely from Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine. The investors were represented by Ms. Andrea Cosma from UniCredit Bank (corporate investment banking) and Mr. Cristian Negrutiu, co-founder and partner of Sparking Capital. During this event, “Company Gulfstream” LLC (https://www.gs.mk.ua/) presented its enterprise and received positive feedback from the investors.

 Participation in such events is crucial for the development of the private sector in the blue economy. The team of the PU “UMC” gained valuable insights for further work, including honing the presentation skills of Cluster members at the international level and the opportunity to borrow best practices from international partners.

In summary, participation in workshops and investor meetings offers the following positive factors:

  • revision of the enterprise’s potential;
  • identification of strengths and weaknesses;
  • receiving objective feedback on the state of affairs and business proposals;
  • opportunity to showcase the enterprise on an international platform and attract interest with its proposals.

The next event within the project is the Regional Business Forum “BOOSTING BLACK SEA BLUE BIZ – 4BIZ,” which will take place in Varna, Bulgaria, on May 9-10, 2024. Members of the PU “UMC” will also participate in it. http://surl.li/rzhmq
