As part of the collaboration and upon the invitation of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, members of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Maritime Cluster (UMC) – Ihor Lysitskyi, Sergiy Gurskyi, and Dmytro Bussov – together with representatives of the Cluster members, including the leadership of “Pallada Shipyard” LLC and “Kalibr Profi” LLC, took part in the Danish-Ukrainian Business Forum held on November 25 in Kyiv.

The event brought together Danish companies, including manufacturers of vessels, navigation systems, underwater acoustics, and UAVs, such as Terma A/S, Teledyne Reson A/S, OSK ShipTech, Odense Maritime Technology, Copenhagen Group, SH Group, Umag, and the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI).

The Danish-Ukrainian Business Forum has become an important platform for deepening cooperation between the business communities of both countries. The event brought together about a hundred participants, who emphasized the importance of such events for the country’s wartime recovery, attracting investment and creating new opportunities for economic growth.

The Ukrainian Maritime Cluster’s participation in the forum demonstrated its openness to international partnerships and commitment to implementing cutting-edge innovations. Events like these not only facilitate foreign investment but also help forge long-term collaborations that contribute to rebuilding Ukraine and integrating it into global economic processes.

Key Outcomes of the Forum

One of the main outcomes of the forum was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Ukraine and Denmark. This document introduces the Fast-Track Mechanism for investments, designed to simplify Danish companies’ access to Ukrainian markets, reduce bureaucratic obstacles, and improve the business climate.

The memorandum was signed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko and the Danish Minister of Enterprise Morten Bødskov. The implementation of the Fast-Track Mechanism aims to establish a regular dialogue between the governments and business communities of both countries to address urgent issues.

Additionally, it was emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for integrating Ukraine’s economy into the European market, supporting the localization of Danish production in Ukraine, and fostering the development of joint enterprises in strategic sectors such as green energy, critical infrastructure, and innovative technologies.
