On January 12, representatives of the PU “Ukrainian Maritime Cluster” met with a delegation from the French Maritime Industry Association (GICAN). The meeting has become possible due to support of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
The aim of the visit was to explore prospective areas of collaboration between Ukrainian manufacturers and French companies participating in GICAN. The event took place at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kyiv).
Representatives of the PU “UMC” and of the Ukrainian maritime shipbuilding industry took part in the meeting: Marine Design Engineering Mykolayiv LLC, C-Job Nikolayev LLC, Ocean Shipyard LLC, NIBULON LLC.
Olena Zhukova, Executive Director of the PU “UMC”, Ihor Lysytskiy and Serhiy Gurskiy (members of PU “UMC” Supervisory Board) along with their colleagues had substantive discussions with the French delegates. There was an effective communication between the Ukrainian and French shipbuilding businesses. Ukrainian entrepreneurs presented the capabilities of their organizations and outlined prospects for further development. The strengthening of this connection should contribute to the development of maritime industries and to the international partnerships.
The Ukrainian Maritime Cluster is consistently progressing towards the realization of its key objectives: the development of the Ukrainian maritime economy, supporting its global integration, and enhancing the competitiveness of cluster members on the international stage.
