On 23 May 2025, the members of the public union “Ukrainian Maritime Cluster” (UMC) met for a General Assembly to hear the 2024 reports and discuss the organisation’s future plans.
The meeting was opened by Artem Vashchylenko, Chair of the UMC Supervisory Board.
Olena Zhukova, Executive Director of the UMC, presented the Cluster’s activities for 2024 and the first half of 2025, emphasising that one of the Cluster’s key objectives is to strengthen the competitiveness of its members, promote internationalisation, and advocate for the interests of the maritime sector.
It was noted that the Cluster provides its members with placement of informational materials on its own digital platforms, regular updates on events, calls and market opportunities, access to preferential financing and grants, as well as reputation enhancement through mentions on the Cluster’s website and visibility across the networks of international partners, which contributes to recognition at the European level.
In 2024, LLC “NIKOSHIPYARD” joined the UMC. The company is part of NAVALIS GROUP and has been operating successfully and efficiently in shipbuilding, ship repair and offshore construction for over 23 years, working across European shipyards.
The Supervisory Board presented its report and the membership confirmed the Board’s composition for 2025–2027.
