The Online-Forum “Mykolaiv Blue&Green Economy” is an important step towards forming a unified vision for transitioning the city of Mykolaiv to a blue and green economy. This forum will provide an opportunity to present the main achievements within the UNDP “Mayors for Economic Growth” project in the field of blue and green economy to the city community. This project aims to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem that facilitates the transition of businesses to the “blue economy,” which focuses on conserving water resources and developing water-related industries such as shipping, fishing, and tourism. The project also plans to support the development and transition of enterprises to business models focused on the “green economy” and sustainability (balancing economic, social, and environmental aspects of business) and environmental protection.
